Another Gift from the Holy Spirit, the "Law of Attraction" in Action

Today, we again thank the Holy Spirit for another gift, which came yesterday, in the form of $8,000.
The blessings that continue to pour in are manifestations of faith, and they are the product of Jesus's words: "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive"--Matt. 21:22.

As stated before here, these blessings that have been poured unto the Chapel of the Holy Spirit this month, are the same dynamic described by those who are proponents of the Law of Attraction. It's a gift from the Holy Spirit, as evidenced by these blessings.

Today, the Holy Spirit presents this website
to us, which explains that Jesus Christ taught of the Law of Attraction.

Giving and Receiving: The Holy Spirit in Action

Today, we thank God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit, for the $10,000 gift, a manifestation of faith.

This gift from God was brought into existence this month through faith and prayer in Jesus Christ, communion with the Holy Spirit, and giving as Jesus taught in Matthew 25:31-46, as shown at this website .

The gift was manifested through faith, in Jesus Christ, who promised this gift:
Mk 11:24 "Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you."

"Law of Attraction" on Oprah, Larry King Live, Ellen Degeneres, is Holy Spirit's Work

The "Law of Attraction" is real, and it is a gift from the Holy Spirit.
Brought into the public eye this year through the movie called The Secret, the Law of Attraction has recenly been featured on Oprah, Larry King Live and the Ellen Degeneres Show.

This is part of a movement in the world centered on positive thinking and the Law of Attraction.
However, the "positive thinkers" seen recently on these shows have yet to understand that it is the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost, the Counselor, the Comforter that they are experiencing. It is the Holy Spirit that imparts these supernatural powers. This movement is noteworthy, but it must be understoon that through faith these gifts are given in teh name in the name of Jesus Christ.

The positive thinker's say their experiences in receiving gifts through positive thinking is scientifically valid, and they are right, as there is nothing in the universe that was not created by God. But while they failed to recognize the Holy Spirit, they have certainly encountered the Holy Spirit's gifts though their manifestations of pure faith their "positive thinking" creates.

In the following passages are many examples of Jesus Christ's teachings about receiving the Holy Spirit's gifts through prayer:

Mat 7:7-11 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9 "Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? 10 "Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? 11 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!

Mat 18:19,20 "Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. 20 "For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst."

Mat 21:22 "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

Mk 11:24 "Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.

Luke 11:13 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?"

John 14:13,14 "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

John 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

John 15:16 "You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.

John 16:23,24 "In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. 24 "Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.

James 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

1 John 5:14,15 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

Fifth Sunday after Epiphany

Luke 3:15-18. "The people were waiting expectantly and were all wondering in their hearts if John might possibly be the Christ. John answered them all, "I baptize you with water. But one more powerful than I will come, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand to clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire." And with many other words John exhorted the people and preached the good news to them.

This Sunday, the Holy Spirit brings us this sermon, from Pastor Paul Goulet, teaching "eight ways the Holy Spirit moves in our minds to cause our thinking to change."

Luke 5:1-11

Once while Jesus was standing beside the lake of Gennesaret, and the crowd was pressing in on him to hear the word of God, he saw two boats there at the shore of the lake; the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets. He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little way from the shore. Then he sat down and taught the crowds from the boat. When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch." Simon answered, "Master, we have worked all night long but have caught nothing. Yet if you say so, I will let down the nets." When they had done this, they caught so many fish that their nets were beginning to break. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both boats, so that they began to sink. But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Go away from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man!" For he and all who were with him were amazed at the catch of fish that they had taken; and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. Then Jesus said to Simon, "Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching people." When they had brought their boats to shore, they left everything and followed him.
